It's just been weird because two of our biggest guys Blitz & you were covering rebirth the last 3 or 4 years then sorta just disappeared soon after release. 😂 Anyhoo as I said life happens bro. Happy for you and excited for what you'll be doing. On another note, man I'll miss your regular takes on ff. I'm still slowly getting through rebirth (I've got a 2yo and 4yo who keep me busy in the best of ways) but there have been so many moments where I think to myself "I can't wait to see what Ray thinks about this!" You've been great. Even my wife knows about you. Every time I talk about content she'll ask me what Ray thinks. All the best!

I want Code: Veronica Remake first, one thing they GOTTA change for the remake is that darn concrete puzzle and Monster Steve "battle", because that section was a real speedrun killer in the original. Either remove it or even better, change how it operates: like Monster Steve is so powerful Claire tries to shoot him but it doesn't work and she has to run and hide, making Steve the stalker monster for a bit. The chase ends when she leads him to the concrete slab she saw on the way to him and that is how he gets stunned and regains his senses. That's the best I can think of. Regarding ending the original characters, I have a thing about killing off characters. SURE, character deaths CAN help a story but I also remember what Lucas said about killing off Han Solo: killing off a character is like taking something AWAY from the audience. You CAN write characters off without killing them, too bad The Force Awakens didn't learn that.

As much as I love the roman numerals and are attached to them and hate myself for saying this........ I agree about dropping them for FF titles. Just use subtitles and maybe it'll make the series more approachable for younger audiences to help the franchise sustain itself when we fans that are mid 30s+ are gone.
